Race for the Cure, Komen Italia's signature event, now in its 25th year, is back.
The event will be held in Rome, at the Circo Massimo, from 9 to 12 May. On the days leading up to the race at Villaggio della Salute, there will be free events and initiatives for health and prevention, sport and solidarity, and, on the morning of 12 May, the actual 10 km competitive race, the 5 km non-competitive race and the 2 km walk through the city centre streets will take place.
After Rome, the Race will be held in Bari, Brescia, Bologna and Matera.
Thanks to the funds raised, Komen carries out activities to support women facing breast cancer, free prevention days for women in socially fragile conditions, clinical services to aid the mental and physical recovery of women who underwent surgery, and the purchase of equipment for the diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer.
TIM, one of this edition's supporting partners, will also be present, through the participation of the TIM Runners team.
Let's run together to support women's health and cross the solidarity finish line.
