The first ingredient of digital transformation is the spread of adequate skills, so-called digital skills. In order to fully exploit the digital potential and benefits, we do not merely require advanced infrastructures and services, but above all the ability to make full and responsible use of them. This is why we are engaged in initiatives that are aimed at people, businesses and the public administration.
Operazione Risorgimento Digitale
The Operazione Risorgimento Digitale great alliance promoted by TIM and more than 40 partners of excellence to close the Country’s cultural digital divide was developed bearing in mind this objective.
After a first phase, in which the trainers of Operazione Risorgimento Digitale travelled all over Italy to teach the internet to Italians, with the spread of the Coronavirus emergency, the project has become even more strategic and systematic: a widespread, free and interactive school that contributes to spreading skills that are essential, today more than ever.
This project include lessons from Scuola di Internet per Tutti (“Internet School for all”) and webinars promoted in collaboration with consumer protection associations, that help people to seize the opportunities and advantages of digital life through a conscious and safe use of the Internet.
Masterclasses and workshops held for entrepreneurs and professionals strengthen and support the digital transformation of the production sector and provide useful skills to increase the efficiency and competitiveness of companies.
Teachers can access dedicated courses featuring webinars on Integrated digital teaching and others that provide stimuli and tools to educate students about digital citizenship.
Finally, there is also a course dedicated to public administration and the acquisition of skills for citizen services such as Spid, PagoPA and the IO Platform.
