October 8, International Dyslexia Day, is an opportunity to learn more about Specific Learning Disorders (SLD) and promote a culture that recognizes and values different learning styles.
For TIM, it is also a time to take stock of an ongoing journey: in recent days, the company renewed its “Dyslexia Friendly Company” certification, awarded by the Italian Dyslexia Association (AID). TIM was the first company in Italy to receive this recognition and is now the first to renew it.
This achievement stems from years of collaboration with AID, through the review of business processes, the development of inclusive practices, and the promotion of greater awareness of SLDs.
To mark International Dyslexia Day, TIM’s headquarters in Milan and Rome will be illuminated in turquoise, the symbolic color of dyslexia.
The work continues, both within TIM and beyond International Dyslexia Day, through new tools and initiatives designed to raise awareness of learning disabilities and make work processes and the workplace experience increasingly accessible, while valuing each person’s unique learning styles and abilities.
