Commenting on the Euro 2 billion bond issue launched this morning on the market, the Chief Financial Officer of Telecom Italia,, Massimo Brunelli declared:
"This operation allows us to utilize our securities portfolio which is quite attractive to investors and to reduce contemporaneously the cost of Telecom debt, without diluting our holding in TIM and SEAT, because at the time when the bonds will be converted we will pay the investor the cash equivalent."
