Telecom Italia today signed an agreement to acquire 86% of the share capital of EPIClink S.p.A. at a price corresponding to Euro 60.2 million. The interest is being purchased from Edisontel SpA (30.3%), Pirelli SpA (25.3%), IntesaBci SpA (20%), E_voluzione (8%) and Camozzi Holding (2.4%).
Founded in 2001, EPIClink is a specialist Information and Communication Technology outsourcing services provider that caters to the complex operating requirements of small and medium sized companies and industrial sectors.
This transaction, which is subject to the approval of the Anti-trust Authority, will enable the Telecom Italia Group to extend its range of innovative and high value added data services towards businesses.
In the wake of today´s operation EPIClink shareholders are: Telecom Italia 86%, Pirelli 5%, IntesaBci 5%, Camozzi 2%, E-voluzione 2%.
