The stock lending agreement was announced to the market on January 23
Telecom Italia announces that, under the contract signed in January 2005, 22 million TIM savings shares were returned to the market today. This represents the second and final tranche of the stock lending agreement for an aggregate of 37 million TIM savings shares (announced to the market on January 23 and February 3). The first tranche of 15 million TIM savings shares was returned on April 29.
As a consequence, Telecom Italia’s holding of TIM savings share capital is reduced from 42.8 %( (Corresponding to 56,526,943 savings shares) to 26.14 % (corresponding to 34,526,943 savings shares).
