Beginning today, 8 new Sports channels, 15 Soccer ones and 6 optional channels will be available on Telecom Italia’s TV via Internet
With this agreement, Alice Home TV will transmit a total of 53 channels
Telecom Italia and Sky have signed an agreement for the transmission of Sky’s Premium offerings on Alice Home TV, Telecom Italia’s TV via Internet. Beginning today, Alice Home TV’s programming will consist of a total of 53 channels.
In particular, the agreement includes 8 new dedicated Sports channels (Sky Sport 1, Sky Sport 2, Sky Sport 3, Sky Extra, Sky Sport 16:9, Eurosport, Eurosport 2, Sailing Channel), 15 dedicated to Soccer (Sky Diretta Gol e i 14 canali Sky Calcio) and 6 optional channels (Roma Channel, Juventus Channel, Inter Channel, Milan Channel, Classica e Caccia e pesca) which are in addition to the 9 of the Cinema package already available.
The agreement further enriches Alice Home TV’s Premium selection which offers, within the Sky Sport package, previews and replays of games from the Serie A TIM Championship, Uefa Champions League and European championship games, the Serie A TIM Basketball, volley ball, rugby, sailing, tennis, motor sports, golf, boxing and, within Sky’s Football package, all the A and B league games of Tim 2006/2007, the most important foreign games and the Diretta Gol programme. The Sky channels will be in addition to the wide content selection already available on Alice home TV which includes Film, Sport, News and Music.
The monthly cost for the Cinema and Sky Sport packages will be 16 euro each and for the Soccer package 20 euro. It will also be possible to buy a Cinema+Sport combination for 26 euro, Cinema+Calcio and Sport+Calcio for 30 euro and Cinema+Sport+Calcio for 36 euro. The optional channels will be offered at a monthly price of between 6 euro and 8 euro each.

Alice Home TV is Telecom Italia’s TV via Internet service (IPTV) which, through a regular telephone line with an ADSL connection of up to 20 megabit per second, allows users to view film, sport, news and music directly on their home TVs, and also offers Broadband internet navigation. The service is at present available in over 250 Italian cities.
