With today’s announcement to the market of the results for the quarter, in accordance with Telecom Italia’s code of self-regulation, a window opens for the acquisition of shares issued by the Company by Directors, Auditors and key managers. This window closes on 30 June 2008.
The Chairman, Gabriele Galateri di Genola, and the Chief Executive Officer, Franco Bernabé, announced their intention to mandate an intermediary to acquire Telecom Italia shares on their behalf over the next two months for a total of 300,000 euros each. They invited the other Directors to evaluate the opportunity of doing the same.
Some Directors have already acted upon the suggestion.
The acquisitions made will be announced, as they occur, in the manner and time indicated by the regulations for insider dealing.
