With respect to the call options held by Telecom Italia for 50% of Sofora Telecomunicaciones SA (the holding company of Telecom Argentina), Telecom Italia would like to specify that the Argentine authorities have requested giving preliminary approval to the exercise of the options within the framework of the appliable Antitrust laws, without undermining their validity.
Telecom Italia has already taken the necessary steps to exercise its call options within the time required, in full compliance with the regulations issued by the authorities.
