For the eighth consecutive year Telecom Italia is present in the Financial Times Stock Exchange for Good (FTSE4Good) indexes.
Created in 2001, the FTSE4Good series comprises sustainability indexes promoted by FTSE, the financial indexes company controlled by the Financial Times and the London Stock Exchange. To the geographical indexes (UK, Europe, USA, Australia and World), specialized series have been added such as the FTSE4Good Environmental Leaders Europe 40, where Telecom Italia is present.
The inclusion of a company in the FTSE4Good sustainability indexes is a result of data supplied by the Ethical Investment Research Service (EIRIS), a British research institute specialising in the monitoring of ethical, environmental and social performance. Amongst the evaluation criteria are: safeguarding the environment, actions undertaken to combat climate change, relations with shareholders, respect for human rights, supplier control and commitment to fight corruption.
For Telecom Italia, which just a few days ago was also confirmed in the Dow Jones Sustainability Indexes, this is yet further recognition of the Group’s commitment to the environmental and social field.
