03/11/2015 - 12:45 PM

The sponsorship agreement between TIM and Serie A league has been renewed until 2018. For the next three seasons the mobile telephony brand will continue to be Title Sponsor of the major championship and all the official competitions organized by Serie A League: Serie A TIM, TIM Cup, Supercoppa TIM, Primavera TIM.

“The continuation of the partnership with our historical partner, in what is the longest sponsorship on the Italian football scene - stated the President of Serie A League Maurizio Beretta - demonstrates well the affinities and common objectives shared by Telecom Italia and us.  We are celebrating the extension of this relationship of great value to both parties and in 2018 we will achieve twenty years of collaboration. We hope to continue growing together, looking towards the deepest values of sport and football in particular. All this while paying important attention to youngsters, as the Junior TIM Cup demonstrates, for the success of which we also thank the CSI”.

“Football is one of the Italians' greatest passions: everyone talks about football, its true strength is that it is reason for continuous comparison – emphasized Marco Patuano, CEO of Telecom Italia -. The TIM mission is to connect people, make content and information available to them, and enable them to talk. To confirm our presence in the sport most played on field and off, is proof of TIM's wish to be close to people, its customers in particular. For years now we have been seeing sport as an important means of educating people to use the web with greater awareness, to increase our possibilities and those of our children to live a fuller and freer life”.
