03/01/2023 - 08:00 PM

TIM launches the new organisation of TIM Enterprise, the business unit led by Elio Schiavo, the Group’s Chief Enterprise & Innovative Solutions Officer dedicated to the public administration and key accounts.

In continuing with the set-up process of the legal entity announced on last 7th July’s Capital Market Day and approved by the Board of Directors in November, the Group has reorganised the business unit with the aim of increasing the value of all reference assets related to connectivity, the cloud, the IoT and cybersecurity.

Thanks to this new organisation, major synergies are expected, which are essential in order to make the business unit quicker and more efficient in the design and sale of ICT and professional services. It is a more streamlined, integrated operative model that maximises the benefits deriving from the organisation. With a team of more than 5,000 people, the most capillary sales network on national territory and 16 Data Centres constructed to the highest standards of security, efficiency and sustainability, TIM Enterprise will accompany the digital transformation of the Italian entrepreneurial system and the public administration, through a unique, distinctive, end-to-end offer.

“We are Italy’s largest ICT platform and we want to consolidate our leadership in all the market segments in which we operate”, commented Elio Schiavo. “Having all our people involved in a single project will allow us to make the most of enormous opportunities and play a leading role in the digitisation process of the country”.

In 2022, TIM Enterprise strengthened its leadership with results which recorded growth that outperformed the market. The increase in total revenues and revenues from services was respectively 8% and 11% compared with the previous year. Cloud, security and IoT services drove performance. The Group’s 2023-2025 business plan envisages growth for TIM Enterprise set to exceed that of the reference market, with a CAGR of revenues of 6% over the plan timeframe.
