The ‘TIM Cybersecurity Made in Italy Challenge’ has kicked off and is aimed at Italian and international companies, SMEs, startups and scaleups to identify innovative solutions to be integrated into the cyber services of Telsy, the Group company focused on the cybersecurity sector, which operates under TIM Enterprise.

The Challenge is part of the activities of the TIM Growth Platform Open Innovation programme, the new innovation model that focuses on industrial collaboration with high-potential companies in order to speed up their growth. The aim of the initiative is to foster the development of the cyber sector in order to raise the security level of Italian institutions, large businesses and SMEs.

“The initiative,” stated Eugenio Santagata, Chief Public Affairs & Security Officer of TIM and CEO of Telsy, “has the twofold objective of developing new solutions to combat the growing phenomenon linked to IT risks and enriching our portfolio of products and services that make use of innovative and proprietary technologies for security made in Italy. The cybersecurity market in Italy is undergoing significant growth and its value now exceeds 2 billion euros. We are convinced that this sector is one of the major digital investment priorities for our country and we hope to draw the attention of the Public Administration and companies to the digital transition, also thanks to this type of initiative”.

The best innovative cybersecurity solutions based on emerging technologies (Artificial Intelligence, Big Data, etc.) will be identified. The winners will be offered a technological and commercial partnership with TIM Enterprise and Telsy. The selected companies will have privileged access to the cybersecurity market and the possibility of further growth.
