TIM announces that it has today received the refund related to the 1998 concession fee, amounting to just over 1 billion euros.
The payment follows the ruling by the Court of Cassation which, last December, definitively confirmed the refund, bringing to a conclusion a dispute that lasted over 20 years.
The amount received includes the original fee, amounting to over €500 million, plus monetary revaluation and accrued interest.
As already disclosed to the market upon the publication of the preliminary results as at 31 December 2025, the related income, which is non-recurring in nature, was fully accounted for in 2025. The payment will have a net positive impact on the financial position for the current financial year, amounting to just under €1 billion, as already factored into the financial guidance for 2026.
