On Saturday 27 March, when the championship resumes, the Ferla L’Aquila Rugby 1936 club will start play a new jersey bearing the TIM brand, which has always provided support to sports.
For the next three years, Telecom Italia will be main sponsor of the Ferla L’Aquila Rugby 1936 club, associating its mobile phone brand to a sports club that has long been a protagonist at the top levels in a discipline with great traditions. Rugby is a sport that promotes solid, shared values like friendship, respect for the rules and opponents, and represents an effective educational instrument for the transfer of positive behavioural models.
Telecom Italia will be close to the L’Aquila Rugby 1936 club, which plays in the top Super 10 league, not only on the playing field, also for the social objectives adopted by the team, a year after the earthquake, as a factor of community identity for the city and the region. The Abruzzo rugby club has promoted a series of initiatives for reconstruction, looking above all to the young people who are the key members of society.
By this initiative, Telecom Italia has confirmed its commitment to the world of sports where it is already present in other very popular disciplines such as football, volleyball motorcycling.
