Telecom Italia and Nokia: now it’s even easier for TIM clients to purchase from Ovi Store

05/10/2010 - 12:10 PM

Telecom Italia and Nokia have reached an agreement to make it even easier for TIM clients to purchase the applications downloaded from the Nokia Ovi Store.

Now, in fact, the amount payable for the applications can be charged directly to phone credit for pre-paid customers or charged on the bill for subscription customers. This new payment system now allows for the purchase of applications for a maximum cost of 2 euro.

The Nokia Ovi Store can be accessed by over 100 types of devices of the Finnish company, and offers a huge apps catalogue ranging from contents to customise your terminal with backgrounds and ringtones, to games, videos including podcasts, productivity tools and web and location-based services.

This new agreement has strengthened the partnership between Nokia and Telecom Italia, and since last year Telecom has provided TIM clients with the Nokia Messaging service, allowing simple and quick access to e-mail from your own mobile phone, thus making for easier use of e-mail via mobile phone.
