Renewed technological partnership between Telecom Italia and Italian Basket League Premier Division for the next two seasons. Telecom Italia will guarantee the technical supply for the “Highlights” project that will allow the Basket League to manage real time TV broadcasting from all playfields. Sixteen indoor stadiums will be contemporaneously connected by means of high-capacity transmission (HDSL and optic fiber), to guarantee the broadcasting of all matches of Premier Division, Super Cup, Italian Cup and All Star Game to the Basket League production center.
A digital system, still supplied by Telecom Italia, will also allow the Basket League to send highlights of the matches to major TV stations.
For many years the Company has been close to the Basket world and team sports by supporting sport event with wide appeal by joining, once again, technology and commitment in the sport world.
Also this year Telecom Italia will be present on Basket fields with “impresa Semplice”, the integrated offer that satisfies all communication needs of small and medium companies.
