Following the success on TV of “La sorprendente storia d’Italia” with Nicola Savino, Telecom Italia is launching Twittastorie, an initiative that gives participants the opportunity to re-write the histories of Naples, Rome and Genoa using 140 characters. It will be sufficient to Twitter (#twittastorie) or post on Telecom Italia’s official Facebook page one’s idea for a city’s history. The most original and fun 140 characters will inspire a 60” video.

For the duration of six weeks, starting from 11th June, 3 of Italy’s best video makers Cosimo Alemà, Alessandro Piva and The Jakal group will be at the web’s disposal to convert the most original ideas into videos, these will then be available to view on Telecom Italia’s youtube channel and on its Facebook fan page.

Naples will be the first city of the initiative from 11th June, Rome and Genoa will follow shortly after.

Twittastorie has been created in collaboration with Show Reel.

Again Telecom Italia is promoting a project that views the Web as an important tool to store and share information and on which different and original points of view may be found.
