Telecom Italia and Fondazione Musica per Roma are presenting the third edition of “Luglio suona web”: four nights of great music from the “Luglio Suona Bene” (July sounds good) event which will take place this summer at the Auditorium in Rome. The performances of “La Notte della Taranta orchestra” with Ludovico Einaudi, Alex Britti with Stefano Di Battista Sextet, Vinicio Capossela and Noemi will be streamed live and free of charge directly from the Cavea of the ’Auditorium Parco della Musica in Rome at www.lugliosuonaweb.telecomitalia.com.

Exclusive interviews, backstage footage and a “live blog” to interact with the performers will be available on the Telecom Italia website as well as the possibility to comment their concerts with a music expert.

The event will begin on 29th June with the hypnotizing Taranta rhythms which return to the Auditorium to energize the atmosphere in the Cavea with the most beautiful and overwhelming songs from the Salento region, mixing traditional music with innovative sounds accompanied by an orchestra conducted by Ludovico Einaudi.

On 26th July the unstoppable Vinicio Capossela will be playing unreleased material along with well known tracks from his repertory and heading a Greek-Italian ensemble, with which he will be adventuring into the “rebetiko” style - a type of blues from the Aegean area that originated 100 years ago in the Thessaloniki of “rebetes” (rebels).

On 1st August Noemi will be performing all her most successful hits by revisiting her artistic career. She will also be performing “Sono Solo Parole” a big hit among the public and critics at the last edition of the Sanremo festival.

Alex Britti and Stefano Di Battista Sextet will guarantee a spectacular ending for the event with an instrumental project which will most definitely express all of their creativity and talent. They will also be playing international classics and songs from their repertories.

After the success of MIT – an electronic music festival that saw 60 thousand live accesses - and of PappanoinWeb (450 accesses both live and on demand), music confirms its role as the means with which Telecom Italia confirms its leadership in digital inclusion through the socialization of high end artistic and cultural experiences.

All performances will be available – except Noemi’s – to stream on demand at www.lugliosuonaweb.telecomitalia.com until 31st December 2012.
