Over 2,000 videos to relive the great excitement that sport has provided us in the past 80 years. The Sports Archive at the Istituto Luce, with its suggestive images starting from black and white, is now available on Cubovision, the Telecom Italia television multi-platform which has thus inaugurated a new dedicated Web TV channel.
A journey back in time enabling us to relive the intense sports and historical episodes with the most significant events like the 1928 Olympics in Amsterdam, Los Angeles ’32, Berlin ’36, Rome ’60 and Munich ’72; there are also the images of the Italian football championships from the 1920s up to the 1970s, the automobile grand prix races and the Tour of Italy (from 1931 to 1984).
