Telecom Italia is main partner in The Communication Week, the major Italian initiative dedicated to communication currently being held in Milan: an annual group event, taking place in a number of locations throughout the city of Milan, with a calendar of initiatives free of charge and open to the city.
As part of the events planned, Telecom Italia will present, through its avoicomunicare project (www.avoicomunicare.it), some interviews in the “Sustainable Choices” miniseries at "Smart Life - technology that cares about the planet", a conference moderated by the journalist and expert on environmental communication Marco Gisotti; the topics under discussion will be the opportunities provided by technologies and digital communication to achieve a sustainable profession and make green projects feasible. The appointment is in Milan on Thursday 4 October at 11 a.m. at “La Cordata” Auditorium in Via San Vittore 49. It will be possible to follow the meeting in live streaming on avoicomunicare.it at the same time.
More specifically, “Sustainable Choices” is the title of one of the two web series written and produced by avoicomunicare, launched last March, that will include 25 video interviews each by the end of 2012. All those interviewed in the films are protagonists of a different path that led them to abandon previous lifestyles to embrace professional behaviour and activities more sustainable for themselves and the environment, for a healthier life and work.
The “Sustainable Choices” interviews already visible online have been viewed by approximately 6,000 people on the Youtube avoicomunicare channel which has reached a total of almost 300.000 views.
avoicomunicare is a project created by Telecom Italia to stimulate open discussion regarding major issues: the environment, sustainable development, biodiversity, potential synergies between different worlds and cultures, integration, building of peace based on knowledge and mutual understanding. This is a real integrated communication project that demonstrates the Group's willingness to promote dialogue in the country.
