WARNER BROS DISCOVERY AND TIM ANNOUNCE A NEW MULTI-YEAR PARTNERSHIP HBO MAX ARRIVES ON TIMVISION

Warner Bros. Discovery and TIM announce a new strategic partnership for the launch of HBO Max in Italy. Thanks to this multi-year agreement, the HBO Max app arrives on TimVision, offering subscribers privileged access to the platform’s content.

This new agreement allows HBO Max to be distributed in combination with TimVision offers, providing customers with exclusive content combinations that increasingly meet their daily entertainment needs, starting at €7 per month with the entire HBO Max catalog, TimVision Play, Netflix, and Infinity Plus.

The agreement also includes the renewal of Warner Bros. Discovery content for TimVision customers who will continue to see, included in the TimVision subscription, content from discovery+ with the 6 channels of the Eurosport offer as well as CNN International a selection of films such as Dune, Acquaman, and Joker and HBO TV series like The Undoing, Mare of Easttown and Sharp Objects.

The collaboration strengthens HBO Max’s global expansion strategy and TimVision’s strategy, which further consolidates its unique role in the Italian market as the main aggregator of all the major global streaming platforms, alongside TimVision Play and its renewed catalog of movies, TV series, cartoons and sports.

HBO Max, Warner Bros. Discovery’s global streaming service, is already available in more than 100 countries and offers a unique catalogue providing access to content from HBO, Warner Bros. Pictures, Warner Bros. Television, DC Universe, Max Originals, and Eurosport.

The launch features an outstanding lineup of new titles, starting with the major hit A Battle After Another by director Paul Thomas Anderson, starring Leonardo DiCaprio. Among the most highly anticipated global releases are the HBO Original series A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms (available from January 19) and the second season of The Pitt, the Emmy Award–winning Max Original medical drama. The HBO Original series Industry, set in the world of finance, is also arriving in Italy for the first time. The launch of HBO Max in Italy comes with a vibrant slate of Italian HBO Originals, starting with Marco Bellocchio’s Portobello, starring Fabrizio Gifuni, and Melania Rea, starring Maria Esposito, the gripping drama that retraces her shocking 2011 murder. On the horizon is an engaging line-up of docuseries. Among them Gina Lollobrigida: Diva Contesa, a compelling account of the battle over the legacy of a cinema icon and an intense family melodrama. And Saman, the heartbreaking struggle for freedom of a young Pakistani woman murdered by her own family clan for refusing an arranged marriage.
