TIM ranks first in Italy for fixed and mobile network quality. This is according to Opensignal, the global leader in connectivity user experience analysis. The published reports highlight the Group’s leadership in the quality of service provided to customers throughout the country and particularly in Rome and Milan for Mobile services. According to Opensignal, TIM is the best operator for ‘Consistent Quality’, in Italy, an indicator that measures the network’s ability to ensure stable performance in everyday digital activities, from browsing and streaming to the most advanced services, with a score of 80% for fixed-line and 79.2% for mobile.

This significant award received by the Group is the focus of the new episode of the advert featuring Massimo Lopez and set in the Fortino, which has returned as a setting for telling the story of a present that is increasingly intertwined with advanced technologies and new models of interaction.

According to Opensignal’s findings, TIM also leads the way in the ‘Video Experience’ (with a score of 69.5) and ‘Games Experience’ (with a score of 75.6) categories – areas that are becoming increasingly central to everyday internet use – benefiting customers who use streaming, entertainment and gaming services on the go. Furthermore, in Milan and Rome, TIM’s 5G is the fastest of all: the Group has taken the top spot for performance on the next-generation mobile network, recording the best 5G download and upload speeds in the cities of Milan (248.4 Mbps download and 24.8 Mbps upload) and Rome (223 Mbps download and 23.5 Mbps upload).

The awards received from Opensignal reflect the Group’s investment in the development of secure, high-performance next-generation digital infrastructure, with the aim of offering citizens, businesses and the public sector increasingly advanced services capable of supporting the country’s digital transformation.

The full results are contained in the reports ‘Opensignal Awards – Europe: Fixed Broadband Experience Report’, published in February 2026, and ‘Opensignal Awards – Italy: Mobile Network Experience Report’, published in December 2025, and are based on detailed statistical analyses of the user experience of customers of the leading fixed and mobile operators in Italy.
