Sparkle Pioneers Secure AI Communication

With its patent-pending STLS-AI service, Sparkle brings secure, verifiable communication between autonomous AI agents

11/12/2025 - 05:00 PM

Sparkle, the first international service provider in Italy and among the top global operators, announces the launch of STLS-AI (Symmetric Transport Layer Security for Agentic Artificial Intelligence), a patent-pending innovation that ensures quantum-resilient, verifiable, and efficient communication between AI agents. The announcement is made during the Global NaaS Event (GNE) organized by Mplify and currently underway in Dallas, where Sparkle is showcasing the service's capabilities to the industry through live demonstrations.

As Artificial Intelligence evolves from predictive models into Agentic AI, a new paradigm is emerging in which autonomous digital actors not only execute commands but also plan, negotiate, and interact with other agents, coordinating actions, processing data, and even delegating tasks without human supervision. Market studies indicate that the AI agent segment is expanding rapidly, with annual growth rates exceeding 40% and projections reaching tens of billions of dollars by the end of the decade.

As these intelligent systems multiply and collaborate across digital ecosystems, it becomes critical to ensure mutual recognition, authentication, and secure communication among them.

With STLS-AI, Sparkle introduces a new trust fabric that enables AI agents to identify and verify each other and exchange information securely, without relying on certificates or centralized authorities. Through live transatlantic demonstrations connecting AI agents in Dallas, London, and Northern Virginia during the GNE event, Sparkle showcases how STLS-AI can deliver faster, safer, and verifiable communications, marking the beginning of a new era of secure AI-to-AI interaction.

Beyond the technological breakthrough, STLS-AI opens new opportunities for businesses and developers across the AI ecosystem: organizations developing AI agents, AI-based applications, or quantum technologies, as well as system integrators seeking to enrich their digital solutions. By ensuring both data protection and agent identity verification, the service enables enterprises to deploy autonomous systems that can interact securely and transparently across networks and ecosystems.

With STLS-AI, we are laying the foundation for a trusted AI ecosystem, where autonomous entities can interact with the same integrity and accountability that define human digital identities,” said Daniele Mancuso, Chief Marketing & Product Management at Sparkle and Board Director Member and co-CEO at Mplify. “By extending quantum-safe trust from the network to the intelligence itself, service providers will become the trust brokers of the AI-driven economy, ensuring that the next generation of intelligent systems can prove who they are, connect, collaborate, and act securely.

Exactly one year ago, Sparkle launched its Quantum Safe over Internet (QSI) service, the world’s first solution capable of securing communications against future quantum threats and now available also on AWS Marketplace, followed by Quantum-safe over Optical (QSO) recently demonstrated on Sparkle Optical Metropolitan Area Network in Athens. With this patent-pending innovation, STLS-AI, Sparkle takes another significant step forward, ushering in a new era of digital trust and security.

STLS-AI will be commercially available by the end of 2026, with proof-of-concept (PoC) opportunities open immediately for partners and customers interested in testing the technology within real-world environments.
