Sparkle, the first international service provider in Italy and among the top global operators, has received three major recognitions at the Carrier Community Global Awards held in Berlin during the Europe 2026 GCCM event: “Best AI Project of the Year”, “Best Disruptive Solution & Project of the Year” and “Best NaaS Platform Provider”.
Now in their tenth edition, the CC Global Awards celebrate excellence, innovation and leadership in the global wholesale telecom industry and are evaluated by an independent panel of experts and industry analysts.
Together, the three awards recognize Sparkle’s end-to-end transformation across three strategic pillars of next-generation digital infrastructure: AI-driven trust, disruptive security architecture and programmable Network-as-a-Service platforms.
With the “Best AI Project of the Year”, the jury awarded Sparkle’s Symmetric TLS for Agentic AI (STLS-AI), a patent-pending trust solution specifically designed for the Agentic AI era. Rather than relying on traditional certificate-based trust models, STLS-AI provides a symmetric, certificate-less and quantum-resilient mechanism at the transport layer, enabling immediate authentication, verifiable identity and scalable trust between autonomous entities.
The “Best Disruptive Solution & Project of the Year” award honors STLS-AI as a groundbreaking and transformative solution in the telecommunications and technology sectors. By removing PKI dependency and embedding cryptographic identity directly into communications, STLS-AI reduces complexity while improving scalability and security. It is already moving beyond concept, with validation in operator environments confirming its applicability to real-world digital infrastructures.
The “Best NaaS Platform Provider” award recognizes Sparkle’s evolution of Network-as-a-Service into a fully programmable platform that combines on-demand connectivity, cloud integration, automated service lifecycle management and embedded security through Quantum Safe Interconnect (QSI), providing crypto-agile and quantum-resilient protection across Sparkle’s global connectivity services.
“We are honored and proud to see our innovation acknowledged once again by the global telecommunications industry,” commented Enrico Bagnasco, CEO of Sparkle. “These awards reflect a single transformation journey: building a new generation of digital services where trust, security and connectivity are no longer separate layers but part of the same programmable fabric. This recognition confirms the consistency of our vision and encourages us to continue investing in technologies that will shape the future of digital ecosystems.”
