Only Italian company in the TLC sector to receive this recognition
TIM is included in the top 10% of S&P Global's Sustainability Yearbook 2025. It is the only Italian telecommunications company to receive this recognition.
This achievement is the result of our participation in S&P Global's Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA) 2024, which evaluated the ESG performance of over 9,400 companies in more than 60 industries.
Entry into the top 10% of the Yearbook requires a minimum score of 54 points and a distance from the score of the best company in the industry of no more than 10%. TIM achieved a score of 88 out of 100, the highest among European telecommunications companies.
Our commitment to transparency and continuous improvement
This recognition is a significant step for us on a path that looks to the future with responsibility and a spirit of continuous improvement.
We are the only company in Italy to participate in the Corporate Sustainability Assessment for 25 consecutive years. This continuity has helped us consolidate our visibility among sustainability-oriented investors, strengthen the trust of our internal and external stakeholders, and identify the levers that allow us to integrate business and sustainability.
We consider the CSA to be not only a measurement tool, but also a guide for the evolution of our industrial strategies.
The Value of the S&P Global CSA
The S&P Global CSA is an annual assessment of corporate sustainability practices that has been in use since 1999. The methodology involves analyzing more than 100 sector-specific, financially relevant indicators.
CSA results contribute to financial and sustainability indices used by institutional investors, including the Dow Jones Sustainability Index and the S&P Scored & Screened Indices. These indices help define responsible investment strategies worldwide.
In 2024, more than 3,500 companies, representing nearly half of the global market capitalization, actively participated. Only a small proportion of companies are included in the Yearbook, based on stringent performance metrics and percentage positioning in their industry.
