Accessibility Days 2025

The digital that welcomes.

05/15/2025 - 03:20 PM

Also in 2025 TIM renews its participation in the Accessibility Days, the main Italian event dedicated to accessibility and digital inclusion of people with disabilities. This year's edition, entitled ‘Il digitale che accoglie’ (The digital that welcomes), will be held on 15 and 16 May at the Fondazione Istituto dei Ciechi in Milan, with over 100 free meetings including talks, workshops and demonstrations open to professionals, companies, teachers, students and citizens.

On 16 May, Andrea Rubera will speak for TIM with a contribution entitled ‘Accessibility: the power to include, the duty to understand’, a journey through digital accessibility as a strategic lever for an inclusive and innovative company. Through data, testimonies and concrete initiatives, we will explore the value of accessibility as a lever for innovation, responsibility and collective growth.

In an increasingly digital world, accessibility is not just a technical issue, but an ethical and cultural commitment. TIM's vision on Disability Management is based on the principle of independent living and self-determination, recognizing people with disabilities an active role in guiding the company on accessibility issues.

The TIM Group employs around 1,000 people with disabilities who work without barriers of any kind, enhancing their skills and actively contributing to the design of inclusive and innovative solutions also for customers with sensory or communication disabilities.

The 2025 edition of the event also introduces an interesting novelty: immersive sensory experiences, which will allow participants to identify with those who experience a hearing disability, offering moments of reflection and awareness.

The event will be fully accessible, thanks to LIS interpreting, manual subtitling, barrier-free environments and streaming content.
