As network technology has evolved, increasingly better performance has become available to everyone. With Priority, customers who choose the service benefit from dedicated, premium network performance, delivering a more stable and responsive experience precisely when connection quality matters most.
The first available service is WiFi Priority, designed for customers with a fiber connection. By giving download traffic priority, it delivers faster response times and greater connection consistency, particularly when multiple users and devices are connected at the same time. This translates into a smoother experience for applications such as artificial intelligence, cloud services, online gaming, video conferencing, streaming and content creation.
Starting in October, Priority will also be available on the mobile network with 5G Priority. This will enable customers to continue sharing, streaming and accessing digital services without compromise, even in high-density environments such as stadiums, concerts and major events, where thousands of people use the network simultaneously. The service was successfully piloted at San Siro during the Milan Cortina Olympic events and will also be available at Rome's Circus Maximus, the Imola and Monza racetracks, the Palazzo dello Sport in Florence, and progressively at additional locations.
Over the coming months, Priority will expand beyond connectivity to include customer care and digital protection. Priority Care will introduce dedicated support journeys, providing faster fiber activation and priority customer assistance. Priority Protection will enhance the MyTIM app with new features designed to strengthen customers' digital security.
