Diversity Brand Awards 2024

TIM is the overall winner.

TIM has won the 2024 edition of the Diversity Brand Awards, the ranking that measures the ability of brands to develop a culture oriented towards Diversity, Equity and Inclusion. The ranking is the result of rigorous research by Diversity Brand Index, and combines the evidence of a web survey involving the Italian population with the assessments of the Scientific Committee and those of the Security Check Committee.

Below are the reasons that led to our “Overall” first place: "For its extensive engagement for DE&I expressed through no less than 11 initiatives, especially concerning gender and disability; for having made use of heterogeneous platforms and tools, all geared towards the development of an inclusive culture; for having leveraged its brand to assert new paradigms of working on and thinking the topic of diversity. For having activated its store network in a responsible manner, aiming at a diversity-oriented user experience; for having understood that territorial presence is not only a business driver, but also a way to make a commitment to change real and tangible. For having worked on the projects initiated in previous years with determination, understanding that inclusion is a long-term challenge. For having taken important steps towards integrating DE&I into their go to market, working with concrete actions, ranging from marketing & communication to education and user experience. For being among the brand champions of inclusion in the perceptions of the end market. For having had the strength to question themselves, overcoming preconceptions through numerous projects including Punti Viola and 4 Weeks 4 Inclusion and for investing in the dissemination of a culture of inclusion."

For 15 years, we have believed in the value of diversity not only as a means of enhancing people's value and well-being but also for the results it brings performance-wise and, over the years, we have stimulated cultural and economic change in society, aware that everyone must play their part.
