Smart working at TIM

Flexible and sustainable

11/24/2022 - 04:30 PM

From 1 February 2023, a new smart working model for the Group's personnel starts at TIM.

Smart working is already one of the tools that 32,000 colleagues have to improve their work-life balance and increase their efficiency in ways that have evolved over time. The new model, which will start next February, includes even more work-from-home days, more flexibility, and the ability to organise days in the office more efficiently with colleagues from the same work group. The benefits will be many, not only for personnel, but also for the environment, because, with this new approach, we will increase the Group's energy efficiency and reduce our CO2 emissions.

Specifically, there will be two days of work in the office and three days at home for colleagues who fall under the daily smart working model, while those who fall under the weekly model will work two weeks in the office and the remainder of the month from home.

Friday, the day most colleagues already prefer to work from home, will be a smart working day for everyone, and our company offices will be closed until Sunday.

Special needs that arise at different times of working life, such as maternity and paternity leave, will be handled with special care.

In addition, young people under 35 will have even more flexibility in scheduling their work day and, in agreement with their managers, will be able to opt for smart working up to five days a week.
