Today marks the start of Pride Month, the time of year when Italy and beyond is daubed in multicoloured rainbows to denounce the many discriminations that gay, lesbian, bisexual, transsexual, queer, intersex and asexual people are still subjected to because of their gender choices and identities.
We at TIM wish to add our voice to the voices of these communities as they take to the streets in June with events, debates and parades, because we believe in the importance of inclusion and of celebrating differences: for us, this also represents La Forza delle Connessioni - the strength of our connections.
It is in the spirit of these same values that since 2009 we have organised an inclusion management programme for all personnel here at TIM, and that inspired us to become a founding partner of Parks-Liberi e Uguali, an association of companies that promotes inclusion in the professional sphere, and which is also at the forefront of the Pride 2023 celebrations.
For the entire month of June, our TIM logo will be transformed in rainbow colours to declare our support for the LGBT+ cause. Moreover, we will support and participate in the Pride events in Milan and Rome. Our “TIM4Inclusion” community of colleagues will join the parades in Rome on 10 June and in Milan on 24 June.
