TIM hires Big Data professionals

Positions with different levels of experience

TIM is looking for new professionals, experts in Big Data, to join the Quality Research & Data Learning sector of the Chief Strategy & Business Development Office.

We are looking for:

Data Scientist: a graduate in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics or equivalent, the candidate will be responsible for defining project scopes, business understanding, and converting business problems into technical solutions. They will collaborate with Product Owners and Business Data Analysts to structure projects, with Machine Learning Engineers to engineer the proposed solution and with the IT function to put the algorithms into production. They will also test the results and prepare monitoring of the outputs produced.

Work locations: Rome and Turin.

Business Data Analyst: with a curriculum of studies in Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, the candidate will identify the characteristics of the customer base that affect critical business phenomena through statistical analysis techniques and, where necessary, through Artificial Intelligence techniques with the support of Data Scientists. They will support the business lines in analysing specific actions and monitor them, together with Product Owners and Data Scientists, to assess their effectiveness.

Work location: Rome.

Machine Learning Engineer: preferably with a Master's Degree in quantitative disciplines such as Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics or equivalent, they will focus mainly on the technical and engineering aspects related to the development of Advanced Analytics algorithms, programming software in a manner consistent with Machine Learning Governance tools and processes. They will gain experience on new tools and frameworks with an evolutionary approach in order to make them available to Data Scientists and Business Data Analysts for use in their projects.

Work locations: Rome and Turin.
