Network Engineer
For this position, we are looking for young Electronic, Computer or Telecommunications Engineering graduates with a passion for cloud computing and TCP/IP to work as Network Engineers with the job of overseeing the design, implementation, testing and deployment of TIM's fixed and mobile core network platforms.
You will also be working on highly innovative projects in the development of 5G, new and practical virtualised and cloud-native solutions, network automation and Edge Cloud.
Candidates should have knowledge of:
- Network architecture and telecommunications systems
- Cloud architecture and technology
- Emerging network technologies (e.g. 5G, Edge Cloud)
- IP network protocols, networking and IP routing

Operations Engineer
TIM is also recruiting people to fill the position of Operations Engineer to work in the Core Network & Automation function with the task of analysing, optimising and ensuring the operational management of the telco cloud infrastructure hosting TIM's fixed and mobile core network platforms, also contributing to highly innovative projects, such as the development of 5G, the adoption of virtualised and cloud-native solutions, network automation and Edge Cloud.
The most suitable candidates are Engineering, Computer Science or Telecommunications graduates with preference given to certifications in VMware, OpenStack and Kubernetes cloud technologies.
Candidates should have knowledge of:
- Network architecture and telecommunications systems
- Cloud architecture and technology
- Knowledge of Windows/Linux system environments (including scripting in various languages)
- Administration and configuration of platforms and systems (e.g. servers, storage platforms, network equipment, virtualisation solutions, monitoring systems).
