Notiziario Tecnico TIM is a technical and educational web magazine, published every four months, that explores the evolution of the digital technology sector, with particular attention to the business impact on the telecommunications sector. It provides a critical and analytical overview of the key technological innovations underpinning digital life, as well as the new platforms enabling the digital transformation of our country.
Over more than 30 years of history, it has involved more than 450 authors in the publication of 700 articles: for this reason, it ranks among the most active scientific journals in Italy, and its issues are catalogued in major research libraries, such as the CNR Library.
Its articles grant academic recognition to their authors and are cited in the bibliographies of university theses, doctoral dissertations, and other national and international technical and scientific publications.
The IPCEI instrument, introduced in 2014, has become a key pillar of European industrial policy to strengthen competitiveness and bridge technological gaps, as also highlighted in the Draghi Report. IPCEI-CIS marks a significant milestone, as it recognizes the cloud as a strategic digital infrastructure, with ambitious goals in terms of sovereignty and interoperability. TIM has actively contributed to the project by providing technical expertise and developing advanced architectures, presented with the rigor that has always distinguished Notiziario Tecnico TIM.
