Telecom Italia: Stevie Wonder’s latest single on adv

04/22/2005 - 12:00 PM

Exclusively on sale in Italy for €0.99

Telecom Italia’s broadband portal Rosso Alice is now exclusively offering Stevie Wonder’s latest single “So What the Fuss” on advance sale. The single is a foretaste of his highly-awaited album “A Time to Love”, his first in 10 years.

Stevie Wonder’s new single goes on sale today on Rosso Alice (http://www.rossoalice.it/) for just €0.99. The track can be downloaded directly from the Music Box section on the Music channel. This is a real coup, as the single won’t be on sale in music shops for two weeks.

Telecom Italia’s broadband portal offers all broadband users over 300,000 songs for download as singles and albums (albums cost €9.90). Music fans can watch live concerts, read interviews and catch up on what top pop stars are up to, as well as sample a medley of current hits free of charge. Music Box is divided into four sections: New releases, Newcomers, Specials and Legends (Novità, Esordienti, Speciali and Storici).

Launched by Telecom Italia in March 2004, in March 2005 Rosso Alice registered approximately 2.3 million unique browsers (who accessed the site at least once during the month). The portal registered 46 million pageviews (an average of 1,448,000 per day). Telecom Italia continues to provide a growing number of broadband connections: 4,872,000 million at the end of March 2005, of which 522,000 outside Italy.
