Telecom Italia and the Italian BasketBall League: All eight of Serie A TIM’S Top Teams on Rosso Alice

09/29/2005 - 12:00 PM

Virtus Bologna, Lottomatica Roma, Carpisa Napoli and Vertical Vision Cantù’s home matches on the internet, plus matches involving Climamio Bologna, Montepaschi Siena, Benetton Treviso and Armani Jeans Milano

Brand new “12 mesi” twelve-month package offers access to all live matches for €24

After last year’s coverage of Serie A TIM basketball matches on its Rosso Alice ADSL portal, during the 2005/2006 season Telecom Italia and the Lega Basket Serie A will be streaming eight teams’ matches over the internet.

Italian basketball’s top eight teams will be on the Net when the new season officially starts. Rosso Alice (http://www.rossoalice.it/) is offering coverage of home matches played by Virtus Bologna, Lottomatica Roma, Carpisa Napoli and Vertical Vision Cantù, as well as last year’s teams Climamio Bologna, Montepaschi Siena, Benetton Treviso and Armani Jeans Milano.

Rosso Alice continues its focus on sport by signing up four new top division basketball teams. The portal is showing more than 150 live basketball matches this season, more than any other media outlet.

This year, fans can sign up for the new “12 mesi” package for €24. Each match may also be purchased individually for €2 on a pay-per-view basis. Alice customers can bill their subscription to their Telecom Italia bill and pay €2 per month for 12 months. Alternatively, the subscription charge may be settled through a one-off payment by credit card, or via the “Pago Rosso Alice” ‘electronic wallet’ specially designed for the purchase of content without a credit card.

Rosso Alice will be showing the first match of the season, between reigning champions Climamio Bologna and Vertical Vision Cantù, on Saturday October 8th.

Anyone with a broadband connection (not just Alice ADSL) can watch basketball matches on the Sports Channel at http://www.rossoalice.it/.
