Telecom Italia has agreed a deal with Mediaset to bring Mediaset Premium content to Alice Home TV from tomorrow.
Telecom Italia’s IPTV platform is being enhanced with new cinema and TV movies, TV serials, cartoons and TV premieres, as well as more Italian football. This initiative confirms Telecom Italia’s commitment to enhancing its offerings by bringing new shows and channels to families and to different age groups and lovers of all TV and movie genres.
Alice Home TV subscribers can now access Premium Bouquet package channels such as Joi (classic movies and unmissable TV hits), Mya (a TV channel dedicated to women), Steel (the thrill of adventure and mystery), Cartoon Network and Hiro (for younger viewers and teenagers), and for reality show fans, 24-hour a day live coverage of the current Italian Big Brother series.
The Premium Calcio package offers live coverage of all Serie A TIM matches played by Milan, Inter, Roma, Juventus, Napoli and Lazio, plus home matches played at Atalanta, Torino, Genoa, Chievo and Reggina. Top UEFA Champions League matches join the package for the 2009-2010 season, along with news and features on the Premium Calcio 24 channel.
Alice Home TV now also features the new “Mediaset last seven days” back catalogue, with on demand access to top programmes broadcast by Mediaset’s Italian networks over the week.
Customers who sign up to Mediaset Premium directly from Alice Home TV by April 5, 2009 get the first six months of the Premium Bouquet package for €6 per month (rather than €12), and the Premium Calcio package at €7 per month (rather than €14). Customers who sign up to both packages pay just €11 per month (rather than €22). For the duration of the special promotion, the activation fee is waived (rather than a one-off €9). This new range of programming joins Alice Home TV’s vast selection of over 25,000 items of live and on demand content, and more than 200 TV channels representing the best of broadcasting on analogue, digital terrestrial and satellite platforms.
