Telecom Italia ranked absolute first place in KWD Webranking 2011, the evaluation system of European companies’ corporate websites.
Now at its 15th edition, the research (once called H&H Webranking) examined 950 companies operating in 28 different areas, selected both from FT Europe 500 and FT Global 100 rankings, as well as from country-based rankings.
Just a few days ago Telecom Italia was awarded top ranking in Italy, beating the competition of over 100 examined Italian companies.
Based on an evaluation protocol founded on 120 criteria, KWD Webranking 2011 research has attributed Telecom Italia 89 points out of a maximum 100.
Telecom Italia reached the top of corporate websites ranking thanks to a greater presence on social media, an increased interactivity of its website www.telecomitalia.com and ever growing rich contents, timely updated, particularly concerning financial news.
As highlighted by the research, the Group managed to create an open and direct dialogue with users by means of avoicomunicare (www.avoicomunicare.it), the dedicated blog centered on CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) topics.
A further key element of Telecom Italia’s success was the ability to intercept the needs of individual stakeholders, as demonstrated by the particular mention for “Press” and “Financial Reporting” sections that reached the highest score.
