Noovle is an Italian Benefit Corporation. Since July of this year, the TIM group's cloud company has adopted a corporate form which allows it to better express its mission: to promote the digitisation of the country by following the principles of sustainable development.
Italian benefit corporations represent an evolution of the very concept of what a company is and pursue a dual objective. In addition to profit, their goal is common benefit in order to generate value for the community, the territory and the stakeholders in a responsible, sustainable and transparent way. This is a tangible commitment, documented in the Impact Report, which each year contains a detailed account of actions carried out and future commitments.
The stars of Noovle's commitment are its Data Centres, designed and built according to eco-sustainability criteria and certified in accordance with international standards (LEED Gold), which provide for the efficient use of space, reduced energy consumption and particular attention to the materials used.
Noovle's business also focuses on the adoption of circular economy models, for the regeneration of servers and equipment with the aim of increasing their useful life, and the use of energy from renewable sources in line with the energy policy adopted by the entire TIM Group.
The goal is to become a reference model for the new digital society.
Three pillars guide Noovle's business and have led to this evolution.
First and foremost, the principle of interdependence, which translates concretely into a commitment to make their premises available for training and promoting information events. A principle that allows Noovle to be open to exchanging and sharing ideas with all stakeholders, paying particular attention to young people and disadvantaged groups.
Another pillar is the focus on the environment. Noovle adopts policies and production models which minimise emissions and limit the use of environmental resources.
