With offices in Turin, Milan, Rome and Catania, our TIM Innovation Labs are business and technology innovation centers where we deal with the design and development of the fixed-line and mobile access network, the evolution of the transport network, the development of services and platforms, and testing of new generation terminals.

They work alongside the User Experience Lab, the TIM competence center on usability and user experience and the ATL (Accredited Test Laboratory), tasked with verifying technologies and services before they are launched on the market.

Open RAN

Open RAN

Open RAN is the Open Radio Access Network technology that allows for the creation of next generation mobile networks, increasing the performance and flexibility of the services offered.
Thanks to which, new standards are being defined that make the development of antennas and radio access network hardware and software components independent, so that different industrial players can offer solutions that are interoperable with those of other operators.
