Filing of documents

Telecom Italia announces that the following documents are now available to the public at the Registered Office of the Company and on its Internet site www.telecomitalia.com

• the Telecom Italia Group interim report on operations as of 31 March 2011 and,
• after the filing with the Business Register of the demerger plan, documents on the partial demerger of Matrix S.p.A. (with registered office in Milan at piazza Einaudi no. 8, share capital 2,100,000.00 fully paid up, tax code and Milan business Register no. 11586340157) to Telecom Italia S.p.A. (demerger plan, illustrative report, reference statements of financial position and financial statements of the demerging and beneficiary companies for the last three years).

The same documentation (not including the financial statements of Telecom Italia S.p.A. and Matrix S.p.A. for the last three years) is also available on the website of Borsa Italiana S.p.A. (www.borsaitaliana.it).

It should be noted that Telecom Italia S.p.A. owns 100% of the share capital of Matrix S.p.A. and therefore, pursuant to art. 12 of the Bylaws of Telecom Italia S.p.A., the demerger decision will be taken by the Board of Directors of the Company, in compliance with the terms and conditions prescribed in art. 2505 of the Italian Civil Code.
