With regard to the rumours which have circulated in recent days about the Group’s organizational structure, Telecom Italia re-confirms that it will adopt an organizational model functional to the more efficient realization of the strategy of convergence between fixed-line telephony, mobile telephony, broadband internet and media content, as already announced to the market on 25 October 2006.
The organizational model is based on the constitution of four Business Units (fixed, mobile, network and Top Client/ICT) reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, Riccardo Ruggiero, who reports to the Executive Vice Chairman, Carlo Buora, in full agreement and according to the already identified criteria of transparency, flexibility and efficiency.
