Notice is hereby given that, in accordance with the U.S. law, the Company’s new Annual Report for fiscal year 2009, Form 20-F / A (Amended) has been filed with the United States Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). The document had already been filed with the same authority and put at the public’s disposal last May 21, 2010.
The document has been modified following specific request by the SEC at the closing of the concerning review procedures on Telecom Italia’s Form 20-F for 2009. The change consists of integration to the Audit Opinion on the consolidated financial statements at 31 December 2009, then released by Reconta Ernst & Young S.p.A. Specifically, the third paragraph of the opinion, concerning the conclusions reached by the auditing company, has been integrated to include the statement of financial position at 1 January 2008, in line with what is described in the first paragraph of the opinion. No further changes have been made from the document filed in May.
The Form 20-F is available to the public at the Company's registered office as well as on its Internet site at the following address www.telecomitalia.it and at Borsa Italiana S.p.A. (www.borsaitaliana.it).
