TIM and National Amateurs' League: “TIM Together” starts in Veneto

The contest is intended to reward initiatives whose priority objective is integration through football

01/29/2013 - 02:00 PM

Telecom Italia and the National Amateurs' League  have launched “TIM TOGETHER” in Veneto - a contest that will involve all the football clubs in the region, particularly the youth teams, asked to tell their own stories of integration with articles, videos and photographs.

After the “Fair Play TIM CUP” launched by TIM and NAL in Puglia, the partnership now wants to highlight another important value: integration as welcoming diversity, but also as an opportunity to practice sport to facilitate the process of socialisation in new contexts.

The contest, which starts in Venice and then progressively involves all the other Veneto provinces – Verona, Vicenza, Padua, Rovigo, Treviso and Belluno – will award prizes for the initiative with the highest social content in each stage of the contest. The proposals must be sent to the Veneto Regional Committee, according to rules and a calendar that will be updated month by month, available for consultation on the web site: lnd.it.

“TIM TOGETHER” will also feature on social networks: the National Amateurs’ League has its own Facebook page, thanks to TIM, where it hosts news, information on the best teams of the month for each category, portraits of new talents, stories related to the passion for football, photos and interviews with the protagonists.

TIM, Telecom Italia mobile phone brand, has always been closely associated with sport. The partnership with the NAL and the initiatives developed represent another step on the path inspired by the slogan "Football belongs to those who love it", which will continue with projects to encourage the wholesome values of football.
