TIM: ‘La forza delle connessioni’ to combat stereotypes

The stars of the new advert, on air starting tomorrow, are the players of the Women’s National Football Team, who will play in the World Cup in Australia and New Zealand

The new institutional commercial of the TIM Group will be on air starting tomorrow, featuring the team that is set to represent Italy at the Women’s World Cup starting on 20 July in Australia and New Zealand.

At the heart of the story, directed by Cinzia Pedrizzetti, a girl fan of the Women's National Team who, driven by passion for the game, wants to realise her dream of being a professional football player come true, by going beyond the limits and prejudices that are still a significant obstacle to overcome, even in the world of sport.

The advert is the new chapter of the ‘La Forza delle Connessioni’ (The Strength of Connections) campaign, which emphasises the importance of relationships between people to overcome distances and find the strength and motivation to achieve increasingly ambitious projects.  TIM is working to overcome gender stereotypes, as the women of the National Team have done.

TIM is a top partner of the Italian Women’s National Football Team and supports women’s talent in all fields, starting with sport, because gender equality cannot wait. Gender equality is a key driver of innovation, growth and attraction of talent.

Måneskin’s hit song ‘The Loneliest’ is the soundtrack to the advert that will be broadcast starting tomorrow on the main TV channels, in 30- and 45-second formats, and on Publitalia networks with a special 50-second version, as well as on the web with a dedicated video strategy and on social networks.
