The Board of Directors of Olivetti, which met yesterday following the decisions taken on Friday by the Board of Directors of Telecom Italia, has appointed Patrizia Grieco as the company’s new CEO, in charge of Commercialization and implementation processes.
At the same time, Francesco Forlenza – currently Executive Vice Chairman - has been appointed Chairman of the company, in charge of Research and Product Development, Staff Processes and Quality.
Mauro Nanni, Head of Top Clients & ICT services at Telecom Italia, will maintain his position on the Board of the Company, taking on the role of Vice Chairman.
These nominations reinforce the Olivetti company’s path - within the framework of the repositioning and the rationalization of its business within the Group’s strategies - to support Telecom Italia, ever more actively, in the rationalization of some of the delivery and assurance processes of the new IT offers and with the initiatives which have the aim of furthering the expansion within the Networked IT Services.
To this end Ms Grieco, considering her specific background in the sector, will also provide an important contribution in the development of Group market IT projects.
