TIM has joined the Workforce Disclosure Initiative (WDI), the survey sponsored by the non-profit for responsible investment - ShareAction.
Every year the Work Disclosure Initiative collects, compares and disseminates at an international level the data provided by listed companies on their treatment of their employees on issues ranging from pay and safety to diversity and anti-harassment.
The aim of the WDI is to promote transparent communication for the benefit of all stakeholders, starting with investors, and to encourage more and more companies to be accountable for these issues, thus contributing to the goal of "Decent Work and Economic Growth", Goal 8 of the Sustainable Development Goals set out in the UN's 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
173 companies worldwide, took part in the 2021 survey, including TIM which participated for the first time. This initiative is part of the numerous activities of the Group, which since 2020 has included multi-year, measurable environmental, social and governance goals in its business plan, in order to make transparent the choices that allow it to create long-term value both for shareholders and for the community as a whole.
In particular, the TIM Group's 2021-2023 business plan includes specific human resources goals, including staff engagement. The achievement of gender equality and inclusivity has been introduced into management remuneration policies.
