Schools

Our goal is to give secondary school students the opportunity to get their first introduction to the world of work. How do we do it? Through the School/Work Alternation programme.

What does Alternation mean for TIM?

A chance for students in their final three years of school to get to know the company and acquire work experience. Students have the opportunity to discover different roles across TIM, meeting the people in those roles and understanding what digital culture means and how it is managed.

Where?

In 2019, in 9 Italian cities where our innovative TIM WCAP, JOL and TIM Academy centres are located: Bologna, Cagliari, Catania, Genoa, Milan, Naples, Rome, Turin and Palermo.

As many as 30 schools are taking part.

How?

The course includes:

  • lectures on the different key aspects of digital transformation and how innovation drives operations and business today;
  • use of digital content with a particular focus on soft skills, such as managing priorities in project management, problem solving and public speaking. Students can access this digital content through the e-learning modules (15 hours total) available on the Olivetti Scuolabook Book Network platform.
