The first edition, conceived by TIM, was held in 2020, with the participation of 27 companies. One year on, in 2021, there are more than 200 companies that have decided to participate and, for the next month, will pass the baton in the biggest marathon for inclusion, with 187 digital events dedicated to 700,000 employees and the involvement of key players from institutions, the business community and trade unions.
Diversity enriches and creates opportunities — this is the message at the heart of 4 Weeks 4 Inclusion. The scheduled events will explore, with stories and personal accounts, different aspects of inclusion: from disability to intergenerational relations, encouraging women's contributions, sexual orientation and gender identity, ethnicity and religion.
To begin the personal stories will be a moving video on the values of inclusion narrated by Senator Liliana Segre.
There will be many VIPs at this event: representatives of member companies, but also many institutional figures, such as Elena Bonetti Italian Minister for Equal Opportunity and Family, Roberto Fico President of the Chamber of Deputies, Patrizio Bianchi Italian Minister for Education, Fabiana Dadone Italian Minister for Youth Policy, Mara Carfagna Italian Minister for the South and Territorial Cohesion, Erika Stefani Italian Minister for Disability and Senator, Linda Laura Sabbadini Chair of Women 20.
The trade unions will be represented by Maurizio Landini General Secretary of CGIL, Luigi Sbarra General Secretary of CISL, Pierpaolo Bombardieri General Secretary of UIL.
The world of sport will be represented by Olympic and Paralympic champions, such as Daniele Cassioli, Nausica Dell'Orto, Elisa Di Francisca, Valentina Diouf, and Bebe Vio.
Artists, journalists and representatives from the world of culture are expected to attend, such as Daria Bignardi, Ferruccio de Bortoli, Gianluca Nicoletti, Mogol, Michela Murgia, Emilio Poddi, Diletta Leotta, Camilla Ghini and influencers on diversity issues: Luca Trapanese, Cathy La Torre, Francesco Cicconetti, Momo and Raissa, Nonna Rosetta from Casa Surace.
