Axel Clauberg

Within Deutsche Telekom's Group CTO team, Axel Clauberg is responsible for Aggregation, Transport and IP. His team develops and implements TeraStream, the Infrastructure Cloud and RT-NSM. He is representing Deutsche Telekom in the board of the Open Networking Foundation and is an advisory director for MEF. Axel has been driving Deutsche Telekom's membership into OCP as well as the Telecom Infrastructure Project. Axel uses IP since 1984 when he was working on his diploma in Physics at University of Cologne. Axel lead the Networking department at the Computing Center of the University of Cologne from 1989 to 1998. Axel had various international technical leadership roles at Cisco Systems from 1998 to 2011.
